Situated on the outskirts of Huggate, The Lodge at Northfield Farm is positioned in a very quiet and sheltered farmstead. Huggate is a beautiful traditional village and is also the highest on the Yorkshire Wolds. The property’s unique location has amazing panoramic views across the wolds towards the east coast.
With a personal touch, the lovely range of traditional barns has been tastefully and sympathetically restored over a period of years by Edward and Anna Fisher. Northfield Lodge offers three individual holiday properties with luxury-rustic, spacious, and flexible living accommodation.
There is plenty of things to do in the area, with the famous Woldsway footpath right on the doorstep. We are also within walking distance of the local pub, which offers good food and beer. The beautiful city of York is also just a 40 minute drive, with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants.
For those interested in activities, Anna can organise classes – drawing, painting, sourdough baking, and wire sculpting.
Anna is also very talented at cooking, and has a 5 star food hygiene certificate. Guests can order delicious home cooked breakfast, sourdough bread and artisan pizzas.

A fabulous cottage surrounded by the most stunning countryside. Lots of great walks in the surrounding area and wildlife in abundance! The cottage is immaculately clean and comfortable…. the beds were so cosy!
